As the founder and operator of the nonprofit organization
Find a Dream, Rod Ricciardi looks to inspire youth to take control over their
lives. The Find a Dream Foundation was instituted by Rod Ricciardi as a way to
offer a quality activity alternative to disadvantaged and struggling youths
living in his local community.
The Find a Dream Foundation has provided numerous children
with the opportunity to participate in positive and enriching after school
activities that focus on teamwork, leadership and value-building. Rod Ricciardi
hopes to use the Find a Dream Foundation to encourage stronger community
participation in youths and to improve self-esteem and confidence. Rod Ricciardi
understands that children growing up in impoverished and/or crime-ridden
neighborhoods are faced with many unique challenges, and that organizations
like the Find a Dream Foundation provide a valuable outlet and alternative for
youths trying to escape the dangers and negative influences of their area.
Rod Ricciardi provides a variety of
programs and activities to children through the foundation. These include
After-School Study Areas, Music Programs, Computer Labs, Marital Arts, Exercise
Programs, Boxing and more. Rod Ricciardi is committed to improving the health
and quality of life of his community, and to creating a better and safer place
for future generations to enjoy.
The Find a Dream Foundation has one mission, and that is to
help local youth “Find a Dream.” Children who utilize Rod Ricciardi’s
organization have the chance to develop the self-confidence and strength they
need to create a better and more successful future. Rod Ricciardi shows that
there is hope for children struggling through adversity.
